Singam 2 begins in Tuticorin and will end in South Africa

Singam 2 begins from where Singam ends. As per the story of Singam, Prakash Raj dies and hence he will not be featuring in Singam 2. Apart from him, others who have acted in Singam have been signed for Singam 2.

Apart from them Hansika, Santhanam and Mukesh Rishi will also be donning important roles. Surya will be donning two kinds of roles in this film. The shooting of this film is to take place for 105 days continuously. Hari will be completing the entire film within this duration.

Director Hari while speaking about this film said, "Surya is donning two different kinds of roles in this film. Anushka is donning the role of an industrialist's daughter while Hansika dons the role of a college girl. Vivek is donning an important role in this film. Manorama who had acted in Singam will also be acting in Singam 2.

She who was ill has fully recouped now. This will be her first film that she will be acting after her illness. Mukesh Rishi from Mumbai and another person from South Africa will be donning the villain roles. Major portions of this film will be shot in Tuticorin since the story has the backdrop of Tuticorin. The story of this film which begins in Tuticorin will end in South Africa. We have planned to shoot the climax fighting sequences in South Africa."

Devi Sriprasad will be composing music for Singam 2.
