In the film Thandavam which has Vikram in the lead role, Amy is donning the second heroine role. So far only one Tamil film of her has been released. At this juncture, she has been signed by Shankar for his film I.
It is understood that she has been paid Rs 75 Lakhs as salary to act in this film. This has shocked the Kollywood actresses because Amy is earning so much in a short span of time. She was paid Rs 5 Lakhs for Madrasapattinam which was directed by Vijay. Her salary was hiked to Rs 45 Lakhs when she was signed for Vikram starrer Thandavam. Now she has been signed for Shankar film and she is bei ng paid Rs 75 Lakhs. The producers are shocked because when they approach her for her call sheet, she demands the same salary that has been given by Shankar.
