The shooting of Alex Pandian which has Anushka in the lead role is going on in top gear. Anushka is pairing with Karthi in this film. It was decided to complete the shooting of this film before 10th of next month. The film is to be released on 12th October.

At this point of time, Anushka is very busy shooting for Erandam Ulagam at Georgia. This film is being directed by Selvaraghavan. It is expected that Anushka will participate in the shooting of Alex Pandian after completing the shooting of Erandam Ulagam in Georgia. So the crew has decided to shoot the other sequences which will not feature Anushka. Sequences pertaining to her will be shot once she is available.
