Raana with Ajith

Raana is a leading Telugu actor. Though he came forward to act in some Tamil films, it did not materialize. Because of this Krish who directed the Telugu film Vedham (Vaanam in Tamil) is now directing a Telugu film which has Raana and Nayanthara in the lead role.

This film is also being made in Tamil with the same cast. For Raana, this will be his first direct Tamil film. The Tamil film is titled Ongaram. Director Vetrimaaran was holding talks with Raana for an impo rtant role in his film which has Simbhu in the lead role but Raana did not accept this offer.

At this juncture Raana has been signed for an important role in a film which has Ajith in the lead role. This film is being directed by Vishnuvardhan. The sequences pertaining to Ajith and Raana are to be shot during the month of August in Chennai. The shooting of these sequences will be completed in 3 or 4 days.

This untitled film has Ajith, Nayanthara, Arya, Tapsee and Atul Kulkarni in the cast . Raana will also be joining this band wagon.
