He is legendary for keeping his projects completely mysterious. So quite understandably, as Aamir Khan gets able to launch his maiden TV show Satyamev Jayate, he has managed to maintain everything under wraps. But insiders related to the brand new show reveal that the star is planning to launch a music album around it.
Since the inaugural season is predicted to have around 16 episodes, Aamir and music director Ram Sampath of Delhi Belly (2011) fame have created roughly 16 songs to compliment each. "The idea is to create a different number for each episode," says the insider.
Apparently, during a brainstorming session, it was Aamir who floated the speculation of popping out with an album once the show involves an end. "Since all of the songs are shaping up nicely, individuals are enthusiastic about the speculation. Aamir and Ram are still engaged on a couple of songs. Once everything is finalised, the next move can be taken ," adds the insider.
A few days ago, playback singer Sukhwinder Singh recorded a track — a 22-minute-long song — for Satyamev Jayate as a way to be aired on Star Plus around May. Aamir, who's notorious for his perfectionism, could also be putting his best foot forward for the show. "Over the past few weeks, he have been spending numerous time at Ram's studio. In fact, they've been spending a massive a part of the day together to get the correct music. Aamir is asking into each detail," says the insider.
While the actor currently shooting for his show at Yash Raj Film studios remained unavailable for comment, Ram confirms, saying, "Yes, now we have something special for every episode, but I don't have the freedom to speak about what those elements exactly are. Aamir is totally involved (with the music) and it's been his idea (to return up with the album)."
Believed to be a talk show at the lines of the preferred The Oprah Winfrey Show, Aami r is anticipated to hook up with the average man from all walks of life on Satyamev Jayate.
Still, his show is shrouded in suspense whilst its promos went on air only this Monday. For the uninitiated, Aamir also delayed the discharge of his next film, Talaash to focus completely at the show.
