Anna Hazare came on a one-day visit to Chennai and spent about an hour watching the film Mudhalvar Gandhi. This film, which was screened at the Four Frames Preview Theatre, is dubbed in Hindi as Welcome Back Gandhi. The film's director Balakrishnan said that Anna Hazare and former IPS officer Kiran Bedi watched the film with the Producers' Council chairman SA Chandrasekar, actor Arjun and others accompanying them.
Anna thoroughly enjoyed the film which was cut short to one hour keeping in mind the veteran activist's tight schedule. The director said that he is planning to release Mudhalvar Gandhi in January.
