Dhanush who is currently promoting 3 which is due for release on March 30th has been roped in by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for Earth Hour, an awareness campaign that will prompt people to do their part to preserve the environment. He is following in the footsteps of his idol, Sachin Tendulkar who is the ambassador for WWF.
Earth Hour will be held on March 31st and cities across the country will take the initiative to switch of all power and save massive amounts of energy and resources. In Tamil Nadu, Dhanush will be leading this effort to promote environmental consciousness.
